About the Position

We are now looking for a driven and ambitious Accounting Assistant for our client, a larger company located in central Uppsala. You will be employed by us at SJR as one of our valued consultants, and this will be your first assignment.

Here, you will work on our client's accounts payable and be an important part of their finance department. The start date for the assignment is relatively immediate. As a consultant, you will then work out with our clients in a varied and exciting everyday life. We will, of course, inform you which company it is during our first contact!

Main Responsibilities

Reconcile bank accounts
Handle incoming and outgoing payments
Manage the entire flow from invoicing to customer payments and reminder handling
Receive and register invoices
Code supplier invoices
Invoice flow management, send invoices for approval
Reconcile accounts payable
Process payments of supplier invoices
Report payment files
Other ad hoc tasks related to accounts payable
Other administration

Suitable Background

You have at least a high school education in finance and have worked for a few years as an accounting assistant. For the role, you need to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. It is an advantage if you have worked with larger flows and in a larger financial system. As a person, you are structured, adaptable, and collaborative.
