Licensed Swedish Teacher for Vittra Örebro

Vittra Schools, one of Sweden's leading independent school companies, operates 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Together, we are responsible for approximately 8000 children and students and have around 1000 employees. We started our first school in 1993 and have been part of AcadeMedia, the largest educational company in the Nordic region, since 2008.

Vittra is a socially engaged preschool and primary school where children and students learn about themselves and the world. With us, conscious children and students are shaped, equipped with the right tools and knowledge to create a better and more sustainable society. We achieve this through our unique pedagogical direction based on three components: conscious learning, courageous culture, and clear structure.

Vittra Örebro is a newly established school since August 2022, with 153 students in grades 6-9. The school operates at Karlsgatan 30, centrally located in Örebro. For the 2025-26 school year, we are looking for a qualified Swedish teacher for grades 6-9.

About Vittra

At Vittra, you will encounter an organization with strong commitment, high quality, and lots of joy. You will work in a stimulating and safe environment, with close pedagogical relationships between adults and children. At Vittra, we have high expectations of ourselves and our collective work, which is based on collegial learning and the individual needs of the students. Together, we build a safe and challenging environment where everyone can develop according to their own conditions, both students and adults.

At Vittra, we believe in conscious learning, a courageous culture, and a community-oriented education where students engage with society outside of school in various ways. In our teaching, we weave in current societal issues and explore what happens beyond the school walls. This occurs, for example, through editorial work and projects linked to local and global goals. It is important to us that students practice and learn to think for themselves, express themselves to make a difference.

We are looking for a licensed and qualified teacher in Swedish for grades 6-9 who, together with future colleagues and new students, wants to help create a positive school culture at Vittra Örebro.

To enable such meaningful learning and development, you will be part of a work team, and it is important that you are interested in participating in and contributing to collegial learning.

At Vittra, we want to be at the forefront regarding digital tools for increased goal fulfillment, so it is an advantage if you are interested in and have experience using IT in your teaching, such as Google Apps for Education.
