Vittra Schools, one of Sweden's leading independent school companies with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Together, we are responsible for about 8000 children and students and have approximately 1000 employees. We started our first school in 1993 and have been part of AcadeMedia, the largest educational company in the Nordic region, since 2008.

Vittra is a socially engaged preschool and primary school where children and students learn about themselves and the world. With us, conscious children and students are shaped who receive the right tools and knowledge to create a better and more sustainable society. We do this with our unique pedagogical direction based on three parts: conscious learning, courageous culture, and clear structure.

Vittra Örebro is a newly started school since August 2022 for 150 students in grades 6-9. The school operates at Karlsgatan 30, centrally located in Örebro. For the 2025-26 school year, we are looking for a qualified NO teacher for grades 6-9.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a licensed and qualified NO teacher for grades 6-9 who, together with future colleagues and new students, wants to help create a positive school culture at Vittra Örebro.

You need to be a safe and clear leader with a focus on the students' goal fulfillment. We see that you are a teacher who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with the students and that you are passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, needs, and abilities. The position includes being a class teacher.

To enable such meaningful learning and development, you will belong to a work team, and it is important that you are interested in participating in and contributing to collegial learning.

We Offer

We offer a developing work environment with many career paths. Vittra has a training program consisting of various external training as well as internal training, including a leadership development program for team leaders and network meetings for lead teachers. As a teacher with us, you will be part of 23 other Vittra schools in central and southern Sweden with a clear and common approach. This provides an opportunity to influence both the school's and your own development.

The position as a NO teacher is 40-80%, depending on combinations in the service distribution, with a start date in August 2025. The position can advantageously be combined with another subject, thus expanding the position. We apply a 6-month probationary period. Individual salary setting, collective agreements are available.
