JOB DESCRIPTION
As a family therapist, we work on behalf of social workers, with families and children/youth aged 0-18 years. We actively and flexibly engage in change work together with parents and their children, as well as with other important people for the family and professional actors. This involves various forms of support such as family conversations, parental support, and individual conversations with children and youth. An important part of the work is to activate the family's network to create a safe and sustainable family situation, which may involve network meetings.
In the role of family therapist, you are expected to work both in teams and individually depending on the nature of the assignment. The work takes place in our beautiful premises, in home environments, or at other suitable locations. You are also expected to be able to work evenings to some extent, and you are expected to participate with your colleagues in planning and distributing tasks so that the unit can utilize resources and experiences as optimally as possible.
