What can we offer you?

The Adult Unit consists of employees who work to investigate and provide support to adults. In the municipality, there is a residential care home for individuals with harmful use/dependency. There is also a Counseling Center with five employed therapists who work with both service and assistance-based interventions. Together, we form a whole from preventive and outreach work to investigation and treatment interventions. As an employee, you can expect close, daily collaboration with several different professional roles with various assignments, where you will be an important part.

As a social worker, your role is to meet individuals where you handle cases, investigate, make decisions, and follow up on decided interventions according to SoL (Social Services Act) and LVM (the Care of Abusers Act). Collaboration with internal and external parties is central. The main assignment is handling cases related to domestic violence, but also handling cases concerning individuals with harmful use/dependency or other psychosocial issues.

You will collaborate with our coordinator for domestic violence who also works in the unit. You will also be part of a domestic violence team together with social workers from other units to provide support to families where violence occurs.

The unit is characterized by great commitment and high competence for the target group and social work. The unit's work is led by a unit manager, a senior social worker, and a team leader. This creates conditions for you to receive good support in your daily work. We create the operations together and value collaboration, openness, and safety, which fosters a culture of trust.

What are we looking for in you?

A degree in social work or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience working with the target group is required. In-depth expertise in the area of domestic violence is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
