JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Klåva Gårdsväg 2 is a housing facility with special services for individuals with a combination of psychiatric and neuropsychiatric disabilities. We are now looking for someone who wants to help create a new work team together at Klåva! We offer the opportunity to develop and shape the operations together with us. In the role of support assistant, you place the individual's needs, abilities, and interests at the center and support the user in their daily life and in their right to self-determination. You work norm-creative and innovatively with motivation to promote the development of the user's own resources. Together with the users, you work to provide the best possible conditions for an independent life with high quality of life. You work based on individually established implementation plans.

We use methods such as A Life of Independence (ESL), Motivational Interviewing (MI), low-affect responses, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). The work includes social documentation, key worker responsibilities, and collaboration with both internal and external parties who are key persons in the user's life. At Klåva Gårdsväg, there is also a method supervisor whose task is to support the operations and you as staff.

We want to create groups where employees' strengths are utilized correctly and contribute to a work environment where there is openness and where discussions are solution-focused.

The work will be scheduled for days, evenings, and three out of six weekends. We work with scheduling in Multiaccess. We also work with ARP, which means you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other housing facilities focused on psychiatry.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has support assistant training, the Child and Leisure Program with a focus on social work or educational work, or the Health and Care Program with specialization in disabilities. Alternatively, other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. For the position, several years of experience in the psychiatric field is required.

You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role, base your actions on everyone's equal value, and create a good atmosphere in meetings. You have an open and positive attitude as you have the user's/customer's needs as the starting point for your actions. You have the ability to share information and ideas, both verbally and in writing. You express the core of an argument clearly and effectively. You adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation.

You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you promote a respectful work climate. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole.

A driver's license and driving experience are required.
