Ströms Slott AB is an independent company that has been providing pedagogical care in many Swedish municipalities since 2010. Pedagogical care is offered instead of preschool and after-school care and is aimed at children aged 1-12 years.

We are now looking for childminders in Vänersborg municipality.

Job Responsibilities:

As a childminder, you work in your calm and safe home environment with a smaller group of children in close collaboration with guardians. Each day has a planned educational content based on governing documents, children's interests, experiences, and needs. Everyday opportunities are utilized to create a fun and content-rich activity that leads to children's continued development and learning, guided by the preschool curriculum along with the general advice for pedagogical care. Play and outdoor activities are central parts of our operations, and we are outside in all weather. As a childminder, you serve homemade, nutritious, and varied meals.

Qualifications: we are looking for someone who:

• has a childcare education or experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• can offer a home environment that is safe, secure, and stimulating.
• wants to create fun and educational days based on your creative and initiative-taking abilities.
• enjoys working independently while also being someone who collaborates easily.
• finds it fun and exciting to work with children.
• can communicate in spoken and written Swedish.

Requirements:

• Smoke-free home.
• Extract from the police criminal record before employment.
• Extract from the police criminal record for all persons over 15 years old registered at the current address.
