About the position

Valstad School is part of the Forsen School Area, together with Forsenskolan. Valstad School is located in Folkabo while Forsenskolan is situated in central Tidaholm. Valstad School accommodates approximately 100 students in grades F-6. The pedagogical work at the schools is conducted in teams where we support each other in our daily tasks, and we believe that “all children are everyone’s children”.

The position as a primary school teacher for grades 4-6 is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement, provided that the necessary decisions are made. This position is an expansion of the number of teachers in grades 4-6.

The workplace has a good atmosphere and a serious approach to quality and pedagogy. We contribute to each other’s learning by sharing good examples and pedagogical ideas. You will be part of a team where collegial learning is the focus.

Qualifications

We are now looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 4-6, who wants to work in a driven and positive team. Furthermore, we seek someone who has the ability to work both independently and in teams and who wants to help drive and develop our work at Valstad School. You should also have the ability to create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are a good role model, proactive, and driven in your pedagogical work. This includes being a good leader in the classroom with clarity in communication, goals, and results. You also possess qualities that include both structure and creativity.

You have good knowledge of the school’s governing documents and you plan, implement, evaluate, and analyze teaching, leadership, and safety work in close collaboration with colleagues, the professionals in the student health team, and school management. We wish for a creative and engaged colleague who, together with us, develops the school forward to create the best conditions for our students, for their development and learning.
