JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for you who want to contribute to equitable and legally secure authority practices in Hisingen!
The authority unit for Children and Assistance receives applications for children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as all applications for personal assistance in Hisingen. We have chosen to gather all expertise regarding personal assistance and child cases in one unit to improve the quality of our investigations and would like you to have experience in handling personal assistance.
The unit consists of two workgroups with about 8 social workers per group, led by two senior social workers. The unit has a good introduction plan where the own method group participates in the introduction and welcoming of the new employee.
We are now looking for a social worker for our unit. You will investigate individual support measures for people with disabilities according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We work and investigate according to IBIC, Individual's Needs in Center. The work involves authority practices, which require both accountability and humility as the decisions we make affect people's lives.
The unit has offices in pleasant premises at Rimmaregatan 6, to co-locate the authority offices in Hisingen. By bus from Nordstan, you can reach the office in 11 minutes, and from Kungälv in 25 minutes.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a trained social worker or have another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
Since the position involves administrative work as well as issuing, for example, service statements, you need to have good computer skills and the ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing.
It is advantageous if you have experience in authority practices with investigations, assessments, and execution of decisions. It is also advantageous if you are well acquainted with handling according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), as well as having experience with documentation in the operational systems IBIC, Treserva, or SAMSA.

The position is a one-year temporary position, with a possibility of extension.
