What is Passalen?

Passalen is a non-profit organization that works to ensure that children and young people with disabilities have an active leisure time and a meaningful life.

What is a Weekend Club?

Passalen's Weekend Clubs are weekend activities for children and young people with disabilities. Each month, a group of about 8 children meets to engage in activities based on their own interests. Each group has the same participants and leaders throughout a term.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will work as an activity leader together with two other leaders. This is a part-time job on weekends where you work approximately 1 weekend/month. One Saturday and one Sunday. In addition to weekend work, you will also prepare and plan the work in the group.

The employment starts in January 2025 and lasts for one term until June 2025, with a chance of extension. Your role during the activities is to plan and lead the work.

As an activity leader, you are responsible for planning, executing, and supervising the work. Before each weekend, you participate in a planning meeting where you and your colleagues plan what you will do over the weekend.

During your employment, you will receive ongoing training in areas such as communication, integrated arenas, leadership training, and universal design.

We consider it an asset if you have experience leading groups and working with children with special needs, but it is not a requirement.
