Your Role

As a production planner, you will have overall responsibility for production planning within parts of our programs. You will primarily work alongside the workshop manager and production leaders. Additionally, you will communicate daily with, among others, program managers, operators, and other production-related support functions.

Specific tasks for the position include:

• Responsible for detailed plans and ensuring compliance with the established schedule
• Create and release production orders
• Establish recovery plans as needed and provide documentation for prioritization
• Establish reporting routines and capacity analyses
• Responsible for planning technical master data in ERP for your assigned articles

Within the framework of the position, there will also be room for business development, project work, and lean development within production. You will have the opportunity to drive change initiatives often in collaboration with production, operational purchasing, warehousing, or other support functions.

Your placement will be within the Aerospace Systems business unit in the Aeronautics business area. Aeronautics is an innovative provider of world-class aircraft systems and offers a wide range of support solutions for civil and military aviation. The business area conducts research, development, and production of military aircraft systems. The Aerospace Systems business unit has a total of 360 employees and is responsible for the development, industrialization, manufacturing, and technical support of flying structures - including systems for external customers such as Airbus, Boeing, and RUAG.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a university degree or equivalent experience in the field of production or logistics. As a person, you enjoy taking responsibility, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and working in a structured manner. You are social, outgoing, and good at collaborating.

You have:

• Good communication skills verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Good ability to plan and organize your own work
• Experience in capacity and workload planning, project work, and lean

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Good knowledge of ERP or similar business systems
• Good understanding of program scheduling

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, involve requirements for specific citizenship.
