Your Role

As a mechanical designer, you will work from idea to finished product, focusing on the mechanical design of our products. Your task is to protect sensitive components and circuit boards so that they can withstand the tough environments we design for. You will work with modeling and creating manufacturing documentation for mechanical parts, as well as assembly and manufacturing documentation.

As a mechanical designer with us, you need to work on finding creative solutions for effective heat dissipation of hot components, damping of vibration-sensitive electronics, or how to prevent electromagnetic radiation from entering or leaving the product, risking interference with other surrounding devices in a larger system. In your role with us, you will work both to maintain our existing products and participate in new development projects where new products will be launched on the market.

You will work alongside competent colleagues who provide the support you need to succeed. We work closely together in teams with good communication between electronic design, software development, mechanical design, and testing, which we see as a prerequisite for a successful outcome.

You will become part of an organization with expertise in product development, production, and delivery of high-tech tactical electronics from our site in Malmslätt.

You will have the opportunity to participate in several exciting and challenging customer projects as well as high-tech projects within Research and Development. The development projects are carried out over a relatively short lifecycle, usually ranging from half a year to a couple of years. This means that you will have the opportunity to participate in project implementations from idea and concept to final delivery to the customer.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who wants to work with mechanical design. You should have some experience in modeling and creating manufacturing documentation. We work with design in the tool Inventor. Experience in heat conduction and vibration requirements is a plus.

We envision that you have a relevant university degree, and/or other relevant work experience where you have had the opportunity to develop your knowledge in these areas.

You need to be creative and driven to find solutions to technical challenges, as well as work in a structured and quality-conscious manner, as your work is closely tied to the product's quality and customer experience.

You will need to work both in groups and individually and enjoy a dynamic environment with parallel projects and new exciting technology.

For the role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
