We are now looking for a Production Planner for a consulting assignment within the advanced manufacturing industry in Linköping. The assignment is production-related and suits you who want to work both tactically and strategically with production planning in close collaboration with the workshop and production.

You will be part of a Production Planning function within a larger production area with high demands on delivery precision, quality, and efficiency. The role involves a broad planning responsibility where you actively contribute to ensuring production commitments through proactive and structured planning throughout the production chain – from detailed production to final assembly.

• Resource and capacity planning

• Capacity planning and buffer management

• Production monitoring and analysis

• Planning support for the workshop and production

• Optimization of inventory management

• Planning and parameter setting for manufactured items

• Ensure balance between service level, inventory turnover rate, total cost, and workshop conditions

• Contribute to improvements and efficiency of planning and planning processes

• 3–7 years of experience in planning and/or purchasing work

• University degree in engineering or economics, or equivalent documented competence

• Good theoretical knowledge in planning, logistics, and inventory management

• Experience with ERP systems, such as IFS

• Good knowledge of the Office suite

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written

• Good analytical skills and the ability to see the big picture and connections

• Self-driven, structured, and motivated

• Good collaboration skills and experience working with multiple internal interfaces

• Experience in production operations

• Experience from aerospace, defense, or other high-tech manufacturing industries
