We are now looking for a Material Controller for a consulting assignment with our client in the manufacturing industry. The assignment is located in Linköping and aims to strengthen the production operations by ensuring that materials are in place at the right time. The role is central to maintaining an efficient production flow and supporting the existing material planner.

This is a consulting assignment starting immediately and lasting until the end of the year, with a good possibility of extension.

As a Material Controller, you will work operationally with internal material management and ensure that materials for production are delivered according to plan. You will be an important link between material planning, purchasing, and production, contributing to a stable and efficient material flow.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and follow up internal material flows
• Ensure that materials are available on time for production
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with material planners, purchasing, and production
• Identify and proactively manage deviations in the material flow
• Contribute to improved coordination and planning within material handling

The role is operational and requires a high level of self-drive as well as a good understanding of material flows in a production environment.

Requirements:

• Experience from a similar role, such as Material Coordinator or Material Controller
• Experience working in ERP systems
• Good understanding of material handling, coordination, and planning in a production environment
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship
