We are now looking for a Material Controller for a consulting assignment within the manufacturing industry in Linköping. The assignment involves strengthening the production operations by ensuring that the right materials are in place at the right time. The role is central to maintaining an efficient production flow, and you will work closely with the existing Material Planner and serve as an important link between material planning, purchasing, and production. The assignment offers a dynamic environment with significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to improved coordination and efficiency in material handling.

The assignment starts immediately and lasts until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension.

As a Material Controller, you will work operationally with internal material driving and be responsible for ensuring that materials are delivered to production according to plan. You will drive and monitor internal material flows and ensure that availability and delivery precision are maintained. The role involves ongoing dialogue with material planners, purchasing, and production where you identify, analyze, and proactively manage any deviations in the material flow.

You will actively contribute to improved coordination and planning within material handling and work systematically to ensure a stable and efficient production flow. The role requires a high degree of self-motivation, good analytical skills, and a clear understanding of material flows in a production environment.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role, such as Material Coordinator or Material Controller

• Experience working in ERP systems

• Good understanding of material handling, coordination, and planning in a production environment

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Swedish citizenship

• Self-driven and structured with strong personal motivation

• Good collaboration skills and thrive in a role with many contact points

• Location: Linköping

• Work model: On-site

• Extent: Full-time, 100%

• Start: Immediately (latest by 2026-03-02)

• Assignment period: Until 2026-12-31 with the possibility of extension

• Travel: No travel required
