Are you at the beginning of your career and want to work with the latest technology in mechanical testing of metals? We are now looking for a curious and driven materials engineer who wants to work in a leading global company.

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will work in the company's materials lab alongside 2 experienced colleagues where your area of responsibility is to test additively manufactured metal components. Your tasks will include:

  • Managing internal testing assignments, prioritizing and planning testing
  • Performing various types of tests such as mechanical testing, non-destructive testing, metallography, and microstructure analysis.
  • Collaborating closely with materials engineers and technicians in the lab
  • Reporting results and analysis of performed tests
  • Actively participating in improvement work such as processes and automation
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
  • Has a master's degree or engineering degree with a focus on materials or mechanical engineering
  • Has good theoretical knowledge of metallic materials and manufacturing processes
  • Has excellent English skills in both spoken and written form; Swedish is a plus.
