Your Role

Aviation Services is a business unit within the Aeronautics area. We primarily work with support solutions in civil and military aviation and operate under a complex regulatory framework, which makes the central Quality Department a very important function. In the role of Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Aviation Services Quality Department. The Quality Department provides Quality roles both within our aviation permits and our overall Quality Management Systems, ISO9001, EN9110. We are now looking for a Quality Engineer who will work broadly across the entire unit's operations, mainly within the following areas:

• Development, improvement, and maintenance of the quality management system
• Plan and conduct internal audits within Quality Management Systems ISO 9001, EN9110
• Coordinate and participate in external audits
• Initiate and drive improvement work, business development within the quality area
• Conduct investigations and follow-ups within the quality area
• Support the business in various quality-related issues
• Support and drive problem-solving, deviation investigations
• Develop and conduct training within the quality area

In your role, you will have contacts with many different functions within Saab and collaborate with both other departments and the operational business. Your Profile

We are looking for someone with broad quality knowledge, either from relevant academic education or from many years of work experience. You have good knowledge of quality systems, quality management, and improvement work. We also see that you have several years of practical work experience in these areas.

As a person, you are humble, good at communicating, and easily collaborate with others. You are driven, have a self-starting work style, and a strong desire to find solutions. You are passionate about working with quality issues and continuous improvements. To succeed in the role, you need to have good leadership qualities, the ability to lead teams to collaboration and engagement. You also have good analytical skills, are meticulous, curious, and driven by the desire to improve the business.

You need to have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Good knowledge and experience of quality management systems, preferably within EN 9100/9110
• Knowledge of audit techniques and experience from quality audits
• Experience in Systematic Problem Solving/Root Cause Analysis
• Experience in leading improvement work within the quality area
• Experience in quality control within regulated activities
• Good knowledge of the Office suite

Business travel may occur, so a valid driver's license (category B) is required.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, lead to requirements for specific citizenship.
