Job Description

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in electrical design and automation who wants to take the next step in their career – perhaps in project management? You will belong to our Electrical & Automation section. We offer a stimulating job with challenging assignments in an engaged and wonderful team! 

As a Senior Electrical Designer / Project Manager, you will be responsible for electrical design and project management within the industrial sector. You will work on exciting projects – large and small – and have the opportunity to follow them from idea to commissioned facility. Our clients are primarily in the process, paper, and steel industries, but also in energy and manufacturing. 

In this role, you will work with electrical design in the industry, including designing control cabinets, upgrading existing systems, and participating in the construction of new electrical systems. You will have the opportunity to contribute your technical expertise in both electrical and automation fields. 

In addition to practical work, you will also take responsibility for sub-projects, which means participating in tendering, designing technical solutions, making calculations, and liaising with subcontractors. You will collaborate with other technical areas within the group and have many points of contact – both internally and externally. The role also offers the opportunity to act as a mentor and support less experienced colleagues. 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with solid experience in electrical design within industrial operations, preferably from the process, paper, or steel industries. You have worked on projects in electrical and automation and have good knowledge of CAD programs such as Comos, Eplan, and/or ElproCad. Your technical background is complemented by a relevant university degree. 

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have a B driver's license as travel is required in the position. As a person, you are curious, responsible, and unpretentious. You enjoy varied tasks, like to collaborate, and have the ability to drive projects forward – even when challenges arise.
