Your Role

Currently, there is the same need across different workshops:

The Pipe Workshop is one of the most modern production sections in Tannefors, largely newly built and full of new technology. Here, pipes are produced in various materials for our aircraft, from raw material storage to finished products prepared to be installed in the aircraft in the simplest and most efficient way.

The Machine Workshop consists of many workshop sections and includes NC machining in the form of milling and turning, as well as cleaning and inspection methods, etc.

We are now looking for two engaged colleagues to join our team, one for the role in the Pipe Workshop and one for the Machine Workshop. In this role, you will be a quality representative in the workshop-support team that works together to support and streamline production in both the short and long term. The role of quality engineer primarily involves driving non-conformance management issues and participating in the workshop's cross-functional and proactive improvement work. An important part of your job is to work with root cause analysis and perform sampling and quality inspections to ensure that the work is carried out according to the documentation and that the person performing the work has the right knowledge and prerequisites.

We work with simplicity and clarity, which means daily forums where new and ongoing activities are reported and resolved within both the quality and production organization. Since you are a very important person when someone needs help solving a problem, your placement will be on-site in Tannefors.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, it is advantageous if you have an interest in workshops and manufacturing. We prefer that you have theoretical knowledge equivalent to a high school engineer or previous experience in production. The role involves close collaboration with various functions to solve problems and drive quality issues forward, which requires you to have the ability to take initiative, be easy to collaborate with, and have a service-oriented attitude.

Since English is used in both written and verbal communication, both in customer contacts and within our processes, it is important that you feel comfortable with the language.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
