Your Role

We are a growing team within Contract Management consisting of contract owners, program managers, and project managers who actively work for success in our platform projects, primarily GlobalEye, within Special Mission and Regional Aircraft (SMRA).

We are now looking for a relationship-building individual who can create networks and trust in the role of operational contract owner. As a contract owner, your main challenge will be to work with project managers and line managers to create conditions for Aeronautics subprojects within GlobalEye. You will be overall responsible for the execution and results of the contract and for maintaining good relationships with our internal customer, who is the LSI (lead system integrator) on Surveillance. The working method is to work closely with other units within Saab within the framework of the project, which is why it is important to create, maintain, and develop contacts with all stakeholders. SMRA is in an expansive phase, where your contribution will be an important part of the continued growth journey.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Participating in and approving bid reviews and internal contracts
• Delegating responsibility for project execution via internal contract directives
• Appointing project management together with the project office
• Contributing to balancing requirements/needs from projects to the line's conditions
• Identifying and initiating time-critical activities
• Constituting and driving the work in the steering group as chair
• Actively supporting the project manager throughout the project's execution

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is engaged, experienced, and inspiring in their way of working, and who is driven by making the whole work while keeping track of the details without getting stuck in them. You have well-developed self-leadership and experience in coordinating and supporting others, preferably in roles where you have had overall responsibility.

Furthermore, you have a holistic perspective and value highlighting different viewpoints and perspectives. At the same time, you have an interest in continuing to develop in leadership and/or project management. You are humble, structured, and responsible, and you willingly contribute your previous experience and knowledge that strengthens both the team and the long-term development of the business. In the role, you need to feel comfortable in both steering groups and hangars as well as in customer meetings.

To Succeed in the Role, You Have:

• Experience in project management, preferably within larger complex projects
• Relevant university or college education
• Interest in leadership, ownership, and continuing to develop in this area.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is also meritorious if you have experience from GlobalEye/AEW&C projects.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, it may, in certain cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
