Real Estate Department

The Real Estate Department has the main task of ensuring the authority's needs for local supply. The Southern Real Estate Management Section will, in dialogue with relevant operations and regions, identify the real estate needs that exist and, in collaboration with property owners, ensure that these needs are met.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Expert, the section head of the Southern Real Estate Management Section will be your immediate supervisor, and you will be part of a team covering the eastern, southern, and western regions. Your main tasks consist of coordination, collaboration, and method development. You are responsible for coordinating national processes in local supply issues within the section. Together with your colleagues and immediate supervisor, you will work on developing issues related to real estate management and local supply. Your responsibilities include overseeing the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's management plan and ensuring that it is an integrated part of the local supply process. You will plan, drive, and follow up on actions, decisions, and plans related to real estate management within your areas of responsibility. You will also be involved in creating structured processes regarding operations, maintenance, and repairs. The position involves some travel within Sweden.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree with a relevant focus or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Experience in real estate management
• Experience in local and real estate projects, procurement work, finance and invoice management, and the establishment of maintenance plans
• Experience with management plans
• Experience working with processes, instructions, and guidelines
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have:

• The Swedish Prison and Probation Service's basic training
• Experience in real estate management within the public sector
• Experience in operational work within the prison and probation service
• Knowledge of real estate management programs, such as Pythagoras
• Knowledge of invoice management programs, such as Proceedo
• Knowledge of lease agreements and boundary lists
