Your Role

As an AI Engineer at Saab Dynamics, you will work with concept and prototype development in the early stages of product development. The focus will be on applied and product-oriented AI within mission planning systems and autonomous systems. The role involves keeping yourself informed and updated regarding new developments and trends in AI as a technology area. You will become part of a team characterized by initiative, innovation, and collaboration.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Development of concepts that translate new technology into new solutions
• Development and testing of prototypes to demonstrate technical concepts
• Conducting studies and analyses for the evaluation of developed concepts
• Technology scouting within AI and related fields - stay updated, identify new opportunities, and share knowledge
• Collaborate with experts from various disciplines to integrate AI-driven solutions into existing and future products

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience and an academic degree in computer science, engineering physics, or a related field, preferably with a focus on AI and machine learning. You have experience in applied AI development and are comfortable working with forward-looking concept work.

You have good programming skills, for example in Python, C++, or similar languages, as well as a good understanding of machine learning algorithms, tools, and frameworks. The role requires you to work both independently and in a team, and you have excellent communication skills where you can present technical concepts clearly and engagingly.

We also see that you have a strong interest in AI as a technology area and that you actively follow and absorb new developments and research in the field.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship in relevant cases.
