About the position

Professionals Nord is now looking for a system designer for a global technology group and leading player in power production and advanced industrial technology. The company is in an expansive phase and is actively working on developing more sustainable combustion methods and alternative fuels. Here you will be part of an experienced and supportive team with broad expertise, many contact points, and good cohesion.

The position is part of our consulting assignment. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client during the first 12 months. The idea is that you will eventually be able to transition to a direct employment with the company, provided that the collaboration works well.

About the role

In the role of system designer, you will work on projects where you are responsible for a technical system throughout the entire project lifecycle. Projects typically span 1–1.5 years, and you will work concurrently on several projects.

The work involves managing system data, documentation, and technical interfaces. You will primarily work on structuring technical information in systems such as COMOS and CLM, as well as ensuring that documentation is of high quality and delivered according to the project's timeline.

You will collaborate closely with internal disciplines such as electrical, piping, and layout, and have ongoing dialogue with suppliers and customers.

Your tasks include:

• Responsible for system-related documentation in projects
• Manage and structure technical data in COMOS and CLM
• Create and update system drawings, flows, and interfaces in layout
• Coordinate technical information between internal disciplines
• Engage in dialogue with suppliers and external parties and participate in supplier kick-offs
• Follow up on timelines and budgets related to your system area

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an engineering degree, for example in mechanical engineering or similar
• Has an interest in system design, technical documentation, and data management
• Has a good ability to work systematically in technical systems and databases

• Communicates fluently in English, both spoken and written

It is advantageous if you have experience with COMOS or similar systems. Experience in project work within technology or industry is also a plus.
