We are now looking for a logistics project manager for an exciting consulting assignment with an international industrial company. The role is a central part of the service project organization, focusing on material supply in complex customer projects related to advanced technical services globally.

About the assignment
In the role of logistics project manager, you will have overall responsibility for material supply in projects as well as coordinating material deliveries such as tools, instruments, and spare parts for customer projects worldwide. The projects include inspections, modifications, and major repairs.

You will work with both long-term planned deliveries and more urgent needs, and you will have a clear sub-project management responsibility from order to delivery.

Your tasks include:

• Ensuring material deliveries for both planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs
• Following up and reporting material status to project managers
• Driving dialogue with customers and local companies globally to ensure high delivery precision
• Planning and executing delivery offers
• Coordinating with purchasing, workshop, warehouse, packing, and shipping
• Monitoring deliveries and analyzing deviations and taking corrective actions
• Actively working with improvement initiatives and process development
• Acting as a sub-project manager towards the service workshop during workshop tasks
• Representing logistics project management in various interface forums

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in logistics, supply chain, or material planning in a project environment
• Has worked in a coordinating role with many contact points, preferably in an international environment
• Is used to driving work forward and taking responsibility for deliveries from start to finish
• Has a good understanding of the entire flow from purchasing to delivery
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment

Meritorious:

• Experience in project management or sub-project management
• Background in industry, energy, or technical service operations
• Experience working with delivery precision (OTD) and improvement initiatives

Other:

• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• The assignment involves many international contact points
