Do you want to work closely with production and contribute to high quality in Saab's manufacturing? We are now looking for a Quality Engineer focused on purchased materials and production-related quality work.

Your Role

In this role, you will support production in quality issues related to purchased materials. You will work operationally and solution-oriented in your daily tasks, ensuring that deviations are handled correctly and efficiently to minimize impact on production and delivery.

The role is internal in nature and involves close collaboration with production, purchasing, design, and supplier quality.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Support production in quality assessment of purchased materials
• Manage deviations on materials in a production environment
• Drive claims and root cause analyses in collaboration with suppliers and Supply Quality
• Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are identified and followed up
• Participate in and drive improvement work related to quality, processes, and flows
• Contribute to the development and improvement of quality routines and working methods
• Collaborate closely with production, purchasing, design, and other quality functions

Your Profile

We place great importance on your personal qualities, but in combination with that, we believe you have one or more of the following points:

• Relevant education in the field or equivalent experience from the workforce
• Experience in quality work in production or industrial environments
• Good understanding of deviation management, root cause analysis, 8D, and risk analyses
• Detail-oriented, structured, and solution-oriented
• Enjoy working in an operational role with many contact points
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
