About the Position
The Technology and Maintenance Department (TVA) is the technical office of the Air Force responsible for maintaining continued airworthiness and maintenance production, modification activities, and common technical issues for all aviation material systems in the Armed Forces. The work is carried out in collaboration with industry, maintenance providers, other authorities, and units in the Armed Forces.
In your role as Central Planning Engineer (CPI), you will be responsible for central planning and management of helicopter and component maintenance to meet the needs of the Armed Forces. You will ensure that maintenance agreements are followed and participate in the development of new maintenance agreements. You will order maintenance and modifications from external maintenance providers and coordinate with the unit's Planning Engineer regarding internal maintenance. Your tasks will also include budgeting and monitoring of operational and maintenance economics for the material system. You will participate in work related to maintenance issues and ensure that regulations, including continued airworthiness, are monitored and managed throughout the system's entire lifecycle.
As CPI, you will have a functional leadership role towards the flight system section at the unit and will be managed by the Maintenance Leader. The work is conducted and led in collaboration with both industry, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, and units in the Armed Forces. You will play a central role in the maintenance of Helicopter 15. A significant part of the position involves collaboration with international industry contacts and foreign business trips may occur. The working languages are both Swedish and English.
Main Responsibilities
- Order maintenance and modifications from national and international maintenance providers
- Operational and maintenance planning in the short and long term
- Budgeting and financial monitoring, invoice management, etc.
- Monitoring of maintenance agreements and participation in the procurement of maintenance agreements
- Participation in analyses of the effectiveness of the maintenance program
- Material monitoring within the relevant flight system's operational data system.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Engineering education and/or relevant work experience in the field of aircraft maintenance deemed equivalent by the employer
- Good knowledge of operational monitoring/planning regarding aviation material and flight systems
- Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' and FMV's material processes
- Good ability to report and document your work in writing
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in English
- Driver's license B.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous and structured and has the ability to work in a team as well as independently. You need to be able to handle your cases independently and have the ability to drive development within your areas of responsibility. The position involves many contacts with other people and several organizations, which requires good collaboration skills and social competence. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
DESIRABLE
- Knowledge and authorization within FM's aviation operational data systems (e.g., Fenix, PRIO, etc.)
- Experience in continued airworthiness (CAMO)
- Knowledge of system construction, maintenance systems, and maintenance construction
- Knowledge regarding contract preparation and commercial procurement
- Type course HKP15
- Technical and practical experience of HKP15.
Other
Position: Civil permanent employment. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: Full-time.
Work location: Linköping.
Start date: By agreement.
Salary: Individual salary setting applies.
In positions within the Armed Forces, training during working hours, equivalent to 3 hours/week, is included.
