Your Role

In your role as an aircraft/helicopter technician, you will work closely with the end customer and colleagues in other departments. In your daily work, you will engage in planned and corrective maintenance, carry out modifications, and perform other tasks related to both civil and military aircraft maintenance. You will also have the opportunity to work with the latest tools and technology in the industry.
Depending on who you are, there are great development opportunities within the company towards more academic roles such as planning and producing technical documentation and data.
Examples of your main tasks may include:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues on aircraft/helicopters and their systems.
- Performing base and line maintenance to ensure that the aircraft meets safety requirements.
- Collaborating with other technicians and engineers to solve complex technical problems.
- Documenting and reporting completed work in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
We have locations in several places in Sweden, including Linköping, Såtenäs, Nyköping, Ljungbyhed, as well as several locations abroad. Regardless of location, the role may involve travel, both within and outside Sweden.

The basic requirement for the position is a completed aircraft technician education (complete COR) for B1.1 or B1.3. A valid EASA Part-66 or SE-EMAR Part-66 certificate is advantageous. If you hold a certificate, please attach a copy of it to your application.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
