At Saab, we work with advanced technology in mission-critical systems - where quality is crucial at every level. We are now looking for a Supplier Quality Manager with a clear focus on suppliers and external quality assurance.

Your Role

As a Supplier Quality Manager, you will be responsible for quality assurance and development of our suppliers. You will work early in the purchasing and development process, ensuring that purchased items, materials, and subsystems meet Saab's high standards.

The role involves close collaboration with suppliers in Sweden and Europe and is suitable for you who enjoy combining technology, quality, and relationships.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Saab's purchasing strategy, policies, and processes
• Be responsible for quality requirements in RFQs, contracts, and purchase orders
• Participate in supplier selection and purchasing preparation work
• Follow up and analyze suppliers' quality outcomes
• Initiate and lead supplier improvement programs
• Handle complaints of non-conforming materials and ensure corrective actions
• Establish and maintain control plans and quality scopes
• Collaborate with internal quality and purchasing functions
• Frequent travel within Sweden and regular travel within Europe

Your Profile

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, but in combination with that, we believe you have one or more of the following points:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience in quality work, preferably in supplier-related or purchasing roles
• Good knowledge of quality tools and methods such as root cause analysis, risk analysis, capability analysis, and 8D
• Structured, analytical, and confident in driving issues independently
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with external parties
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for specific citizenship.
