Component Engineer at ALTEN in Linköping

ALTEN in Linköping is now looking for component engineers with an interest in advanced products and production processes for a customer project in the region. In the role of component engineer, you will be responsible for driving the qualification of new components for use in flight systems, providing technical expertise in investigations during failures, and ensuring that information regarding components in our systems is current and accurate.

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, enjoys taking responsibility, and has a structured approach to work. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and thrive in a role with many points of contact. Working with technical information and contributing to improved processes motivates you. To succeed in this role, we see that you have the following experience:

• At least a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical design, or similar
• Experience working with components in technical systems, preferably within advanced products or production environments
• Ability to work systematically with technical information and documentation
• Good analytical skills and experience in participating in or driving technical investigations
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship and a passed background check according to FMV's guidelines are required for the position
