Rookie Startups is now looking for supervisors for this summer's vacation jobs in Haninge municipality. We are particularly looking for those who live in Haninge or have a strong local connection - those who know the area, the people, and want to help create something meaningful on site.

🙌 About the role

As a supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily management of a group of young people working summer jobs. The tasks of the young people are related to practical and community-beneficial efforts in various districts of Haninge, for example:

• Maintenance and improvement of outdoor environments

• Efforts that contribute to well-being, order, and safety

In the role of supervisor, you will:

• Introduce the young people on their first workday and guide them through their tasks

• Be responsible for daily coaching of the young people, both individually and in groups

• Lead and distribute the daily work

• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and structured work environment

• Be the first contact for the young people regarding questions, absences, or challenges

• Follow up on attendance and report according to given routines

• Act quickly and responsibly in case of any deviations or incidents

• Inspire and guide the young people by being a positive role model

You will work closely with other supervisors and site leaders and receive clear routines, training, and support before and during the assignment.

Previous experience in leadership, pedagogy, leisure activities, or similar is a plus - but the most important thing is your attitude and commitment.

Meritorious

• Previous experience in gardening/park maintenance.

• Driver's license B

• Access to a car

Scope Project employment for 3, 6, or 9 weeks during the dates 15/6-2026 - 14/8-2026 (weeks 25-33), you will have holidays on public holidays. As a supervisor, you will work about 5.5 hours/day. In addition, you should be able to work a few days before the program starts and participate in a staff training during the spring.
