Then a job with us at SMHI might be right for you, as we are currently looking for a senior fullstack developer with a focus on frontend!

We work agile in smaller teams in close collaboration with customers and users. The daily work includes new development of smaller assignments and larger projects, as well as maintenance of these. Together, the team takes responsibility for the overall and long-term technology choices and solutions, as well as working methods. You may also work with teams in other departments.

About You

Furthermore, we assess that you need to have:

  • At least 5 years of work experience as a software developer with an interest in frontend
  • Work experience in a Linux environment
  • Work experience with programming languages JavaScript and Java

  • Kubernetes or similar container solutions
  • Visualization of information on maps
  • Building accessible and intuitive web solutions
  • Worked together with UX/UI designers
  • Worked as a scrum master or team coach, as well as work experience with agile methods

As a person, you are a driven, structured, and responsible team player. We also expect you to be curious, service-oriented, and self-driven. Of course, you have a strong interest in software development and are driven to deliver good results. Your problem-solving analytical skills are pronounced, and you have strong communication skills. Translating customer requirements and ideas into cost-effective system solutions is something you are passionate about and usually succeed well with, even if the conditions are not always completely clear. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities during the recruitment process.

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: The position is at our office in Norrköping. A majority of your working hours will be at the office, and you have the opportunity to work from home when it suits the business.
