We are looking for an engaged and technically skilled systems engineer with 2–4 years of experience for an exciting consulting assignment in the defense industry. You will work with advanced communication and data link systems, where your role will be crucial in developing and integrating solutions that enable effective communication and collaboration between military systems.

About the role

As a systems engineer in communication and tactical data links, you will work through the entire development process, from requirements definition to verification. Your work will include both software and hardware development in close collaboration with international subcontractors and internal teams. The focus is on ensuring technical integration, quality, and that the solutions meet standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

– Requirements management: Create and define technical requirements that meet both customer specifications and international standards.

– Technical integration: Collaborate with international suppliers to ensure that systems and components work in harmony.

– Testing and verification: Perform simulations and tests to validate the system's functionality and performance.

– Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation and reports to ensure that the system meets specified requirements.

– Project support: Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the project's goals and timelines are met.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

– An engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field.

– 2–4 years of experience in systems development, electronics, or hardware implementation, preferably within the defense industry.

– Experience with radio systems or measurement systems (desirable).

– Familiarity with requirements management, for example in tools like DOORS.

– Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

– An independent and proactive attitude as well as the ability to collaborate and solve complex problems.

Location: Linköping.

Assignment period: 2025-02-03 to 2025-12-31.

Security check: Security clearance according to applicable guidelines is required before the assignment starts.
