Assignment Description

We are looking for a consultant for one of our clients in the public sector for the assignment below:

• The assignment as a system developer will include the development and maintenance of back-end systems for one of the border police's applications.
• New development and maintenance of the team's products
• Integration with other national and international systems
• The consultant's assignment mainly includes:
• Assisting with the maintenance and new development of systems and components aimed at streamlining the police's work
• Participating in workshops with business representatives
• Conducting system development in Java
• Participating in the agile working method
• Delivering according to plans
• Collaborating with other affected assignments
• Mandatory requirements for the candidate's competence:
• The consultant must have at least five (5) years of documented experience in Java development. The experience must have been obtained in the last seven (7) years.
• The consultant must have documented experience from at least 1 assignment that involved development on the Kubernetes platform.
• At least five (5) years of documented experience working with databases, e.g., MySQL. The experience must have been acquired in the last seven (7) years.
• At least two (2) years of experience with SpringBoot
• At least three (3) years of experience writing and conducting automated tests
• The consultant must have a good ability to express themselves verbally and in writing in Swedish

Meritorious

• Experience with SOAP
• Experience in app development for iOS with Swift/SwiftUI.

Start date: As soon as possible after a successful background check (the process takes about 8-10 weeks)

End date: 2026-12-31

Option for extension: 2028-12-31
