Aeronautics business unit Advanced Programs is growing

Our mission is to explore and demonstrate the capabilities of future combat aircraft systems. We work with complex mission environments, multi-domain collaboration, and connected systems with new ways to share resources, including various cloud solutions. Your role

In this role, you will work closely with or as part of our development teams to create conditions for efficient and continuous software development and delivery. You will also work on setting up real-time data visualization to support our operations with follow-up and decision-making.

Main tasks include:

• Work closely with or as part of project teams and development teams to ensure that project needs are met for CI/CD infrastructure
• Develop our ability to assess requirement fulfillment and progress with CI/CD and visualization (e.g., flight safety, project management, and system security)
• Competence-bearing for methods and technology related to CI/CD infrastructure
• Understand where we can automate and implement these solutions to increase efficiency and quality

Our area includes many different areas of expertise, methods, and tools ranging from AI development via MLOps to the development of HMI concepts in displays. However, we believe the most important technical components for this job are: python, docker, git, jenkins, artifactory.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a dynamic environment. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and believe that you are communicative, collaborate well with different teams, and take responsibility for tasks within your area of responsibility. You have analytical thinking and create order and structure to work systematically. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and communicate well in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desired competencies:

• Post-secondary education in computer engineering, IT, or system science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in system management or system administration of systems in Linux
• Experience developing scripts/programs for example Python and Bash
• Experience in software development
• Experience in setting up automated pipelines

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
