About the Company

JP IT-Konsult i Stockholm AB is a growing consulting firm collaborating with clients across various industries. We deliver mission-critical, innovative IT solutions in complex environments and are now seeking a CAM Preparatory Engineer with experience in machining and composite materials.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of production documentation for CNC-controlled manufacturing equipment (turning and milling)
• Machining and fixturing methods in collaboration with production engineers, designers, and operators
• Cost estimation and method development for increased efficiency and quality
• Work with composite materials (carbon fiber and fiberglass) to ensure high productivity and standardization in machining
• Dialogue with various stakeholders to ensure that CNC programs, machining, and fixtures meet the highest quality standards

Must-Have Requirements

1. At least 3–7 years of experience in production engineering or workshop experience focusing on machining
2. Technical education and strong competence in production engineering
3. Experience in CNC programming and machining of composite materials
4. Good command of English and strong computer skills
5. Approved security clearance and Swedish citizenship are required as the role may involve working with classified information

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Catia and Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM systems
• Experience working systematically with standardization and method development
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with designers and operators
