Are you ready for a bigger challenge?

The Swedish Police Authority is Sweden's largest authority with approximately 40,000 employees across the country. With us, you have the opportunity to contribute to the Police's mission – to increase safety and reduce crime in society.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The group working with overarching process issues now needs to be strengthened by an experienced business developer with extensive experience in change management. As a business developer, you will work on and shape assignments, carry them out together with subject matter experts, and lead the change efforts.

Your main task is to develop and coordinate various assignments and support the business development within the Police Authority's forensic process. This requires the ability to take significant responsibility for independently and collaboratively driving various types of assignments and development initiatives within NFC, and together with police regions and other departments. As changes occur both within the authority and externally, you contribute to identifying and analyzing strategically significant issues for a well-functioning forensic operation, including which structures need to be developed to support this within the legal area.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Leading and participating in assignments and development initiatives.
  • Driving change assignments or establishing new functions forward.
  • Taking primary responsibility for various assignments as a business developer.
  • Collaborating with employees and managers at various levels both within NFC and the Police Authority as a whole.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A completed academic degree at least at the bachelor's level that the employer deems relevant.
  • Experience in change management and business development.
  • Experience in leading change efforts.
  • Experience in collaboration within organizations.
  • Experience in preparing documentation and processing.
  • Experience in handling large amounts of information.
  • Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

It is an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience in participating in or leading change efforts in the public sector.
  • Experience working with classified information.
  • Experience in handling matters at a government authority that the employer deems relevant.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who takes the initiative to drive their tasks forward, with the ability to handle conditions that can change rapidly based on the needs of the organization. You are self-driven, structured, and quality-conscious in your work. Since the role involves many points of contact, we see it as a given that you have a trustworthy demeanor and a good ability to collaborate with others to achieve common goals. You have a knack for networking and understand the importance of creating contacts both within the department and across the authority. To be successful in the role, you see the bigger picture and take into account the broader perspective.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
