Your Role

We are looking for a bid and cost leader who can prepare cost estimates and quotation materials for ongoing and new contracts regarding support and maintenance for Gripen. You will work closely with the operationally responsible departments and, together with other campaign roles in the sales team, represent the support and maintenance organization in sales campaigns for Gripen. You will also contribute to continuously developing the organization's cost estimation work and collaboration.

Your role includes holding and participating in various regular meetings/forums with designated contact persons within the organizations linked to support and maintenance.

The position can, depending on your background and interests, be combined with other roles within the marketing organization. Thus, there are good opportunities if you want to develop within various marketing or contract roles. You will be able to participate in shaping the business, winning contracts, building and managing large support agreements and commitments.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a mix of cost estimation experience, business acumen, and interest in our operations and customer relationships. You demonstrate engagement and initiative to create structures and routines. You are attracted to working in a role where you can be the spider in the web and create a broad network of contacts.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in driving and leading work, for example through project management, and enjoys taking responsibility all the way from idea to implementation
• Has excellent knowledge of Excel
• Is communicative and has an easy time collaborating with different functions and stakeholders
• Works carefully, structured, and proactively, and has the ability to both dive into details and lift your gaze to the bigger picture.

Desirable - or areas you are curious to develop in

• Sales and product management processes
• Building and/or operating support and maintenance solutions for complex military solutions

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification placement, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
