NTM in Norrköping is now recruiting a business controller with the help of us at Mpya Finance. Here you will have the opportunity to play an important role in a foundation-owned group with a focus on local journalism.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will be part of the group's finance department and work closely with operational managers. The role focuses on the Distribution business area, which is responsible for ensuring that the group's logistics chain is sustainable and efficient, as well as the Printing business area that develops and strengthens the group's printing offerings. In this role, you will report directly to the CFO.

• Analyze operational data and suggest measures to develop the business
• Analyze revenues, costs, and profitability
• Present financial reports and support managers and the organization
• Management team work
• Develop key performance indicators and follow-up
• Support in forecasting and budgeting processes

Who are we looking for?

As an applicant for this position, you have an academic degree in finance or equivalent. You have relevant work experience from a similar role, and it is highly meritorious if you have also worked in the logistics industry. To be successful and thrive in the role, your analytical skills must be very good, and you are eager to take initiative in both routine tasks and ad-hoc assignments. You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and we consider it an advantage if you have experience with analysis and BI tools. Furthermore, you have excellent knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

You easily build trust in your area and are keen to be a good team player who shares your knowledge. You are described as proactive with an analytical work approach. You are a team player with a solution-oriented attitude that rubs off on your colleagues. Additionally, you communicate easily and are described as a self-driven colleague who takes responsibility for driving work forward and thrives in a changing environment. You are motivated by developing profitability in a growing business.
