At Mpya Finance, we have been entrusted to assist NTM in recruiting a Financial Controller for their fine office in Norrköping. NTM is one of Sweden's largest groups for local media, with operations from Småland to Norrbotten. The group is foundation-owned and includes newspapers, printing houses, distribution companies, and marketing companies – together they create a broad media company focused on local community benefit.

Main Responsibilities

As a financial controller, you will be part of an accounting team of about 15 people and report directly to the Head of Accounting. The office is located on Stohagsgatan in Norrköping.

• Ensure correct bookkeeping according to regulations in close collaboration with the team
• Participate in and coordinate monthly and annual financial closings, including reconciliations and reporting
• Develop and improve financial reports and analyses that support governance and decision-making
• Analyze cost centers, projects, and business areas to identify deviations and improvement potential
• Drive projects to streamline processes, systems, and routines
• Provide qualified support in accounting, reporting, and process development

Who are we looking for?

We see that you, who are applying for this position, have a university degree or equivalent in finance. You have several years of relevant work experience in accounting and financial reporting, and you can independently prepare financial statements. Furthermore, you possess a good understanding of accounting principles and regulations (K3). You have good system knowledge, preferably with experience in Unit4 and BI tools. Your proficiency in the Swedish language is very good, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are described as driven, meticulous, and self-sufficient, and you always strive for high quality in your delivery.
