Professional Galaxy is looking for: Finance Assistant

We are now looking for a finance assistant for a consulting assignment with a client in global industrial operations, located in Finspång. The assignment is part of the Real Estate business and involves a central role in daily financial work, where structure, quality, and close collaboration with both the business and the central finance function are crucial.

The business is in a growth phase, and the finance department needs reinforcement to ensure stable and efficient financial flows.

About the assignment

As a consultant, you will work broadly with ongoing finance related to Real Estate and serve as a hub for orders, invoices, and reconciliations. You will collaborate closely with both the business and central finance and actively contribute to accurate and quality-assured financial processes.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring correct coding and payment of supplier invoices

  • Ongoing reconciliations between invoices and associated agreements

  • Support in monthly closing by preparing documentation and reconciliations

  • Review of income statement and balance sheet and follow-up of discrepancies

  • Support in the procurement process according to applicable guidelines

  • Administration of purchase requisitions and purchase orders

  • Participation in improvement work and development of routines and working methods

Qualifications

To be considered for the assignment, we see that you:

  • Have a high school education in economics or equivalent

  • Have 2–3 years of experience working in a finance department

  • Are meticulous, structured, and self-driven

  • Have good knowledge of Excel

  • Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience with procurement and contract work
