The clinic's medical administration consists of 15 medical administrators and is organizationally under a unit manager with medical administrator training. The medical administrators play an important role and are integrated into all units of the clinic. We have a very good collaboration with the clinic's other professions. We have an open climate and help each other face new challenges, learn from each other, and brainstorm solutions.

Job Description

The Surgical Clinic at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping (ViN) is part of the Center for Surgery, Orthopedics, and Cancer Care (CKOC) in Östergötland. The clinic has a care department, department 10, with 32 care places. There is both a planned and an acute intake of patients with surgical and urological diseases, as well as a reception where we receive and investigate patients for colon cancer, skin changes, esophageal diseases, and obesity.

We are located in the department, reception, and also have our own administrative corridor, where you have the opportunity to rotate between stations. We are looking for someone who wants to influence, develop, and further quality assure the administrative work. We work a lot with RAK – right use of competence, throughout the clinic.

We offer you an exciting job with great variation, including journal documentation for all caregivers, referral management, booking management, ITR, invoice management, business development, coordinator at the reception, scheduling, TESSA, management support, mentoring, and more.

As a newcomer with us, you will receive an introduction plan tailored to your experiences and knowledge. You will be assigned a mentor from the group. Once you are self-sufficient in your work, there is an opportunity to work from home a few days a week.

About You

A requirement is that you are a trained medical administrator. You have good listening comprehension and can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. It is advantageous if you have experience with Cosmic and other relevant IT systems for Region Östergötland.
