Recruitment Specialist at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, detention centers, and client transport.
The HR unit is divided into seven sections with HR experts, recruitment teams, and an HR manager per region. Employees in the sections are located at both regional offices and the headquarters and support managers across the country. The positions are located in the HR unit at the headquarters.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a recruitment specialist in recruitment HQ, your mission is to support the managers at the headquarters with quality-assured and effective recruitments for expert, specialist, and managerial positions. An important part of the role involves working consultatively and service-oriented towards our clients and ensuring the administration related to the recruitment process.
You will support managers throughout the recruitment process, including publishing job ads, screening candidates, planning and conducting interviews, performing security checks, managing administration, and everything related to the recruitment process.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is easy to collaborate with and has an interest in helping others. In your work, you take great responsibility for your tasks by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively. You are accustomed to adapting to changing circumstances.

We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in HR or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
- Experience in competency-based recruitment
- Experience in all parts of the recruitment process
- Experience working in a consultative and supportive role
- Computer skills and good knowledge of the Office suite
- Good ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in recruiting security-classified positions
- Experience in expert and specialist recruitment
- Experience in recruitment work within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
