Do you want to work closely with the business and be a central part of larger construction projects? We are now looking for a meticulous and driven Project Controller for our real estate department. In this role, you will have broad responsibility within project economics and become an important partner to project managers and the project organization in matters concerning monitoring, analysis, and financial management.

About the role

As a Project Controller, you will work closely with project managers in larger construction projects. You will be responsible for financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting, as well as ensuring that projects are executed according to plan – both in terms of time and finances, and in accordance with IFRS. The role involves many points of contact and requires both analytical skills and good communication abilities.

Your main responsibilities

• Support project managers in the development and monitoring of forecasts (FC), budgets, payment plans, and financial goals
• Ongoing financial monitoring of larger construction projects
• Ensure and follow up on project milestones and accurate reporting
• Contribute to the development of routines and working methods within project economics
• Prepare analyses and reports for project and management groups

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in economics or equivalent competence
• Experience as a project controller or project economist within construction or infrastructure projects
• Good understanding of project management and financial monitoring processes
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex information clearly
• Good communication skills and enjoys collaborating with multiple functions

Meritorious

• Experience with SAP or other large business systems
• Experience from larger, complex project organizations
