Who are we?

The mission of the Competence Supply Office is to make the future workforce visible and to be an active part of solving Norrköping's competence supply needs. With our shared resources and professional expertise, we are a central part both internally and externally for societal growth and individual development.

Competence supply is the term that unites us in our mission across all the operations we work within at our office. Within the office, we are about 400 employees responsible for supply support according to the Social Services Act, municipal labor market measures, budget and debt counseling, as well as adult education from SFI to higher vocational education.

Adult education offers flexible high-quality education with varying study forms both within SFI, basic and upper secondary levels, as well as vocational training.

The unit for procured adult education is led by a principal and encompasses a range of vocational training at the upper secondary level. We collaborate with external education providers to deliver training and offer support in the form of business developers and special educators.

You will be based at our office on Skolgatan 7 in central Norrköping, but you will spend a large part of your time on site visits and dialogue meetings with external contacts.

Your tasks

In the role of business developer, you will support the principal in organizational development and quality assurance of procured adult education. You will participate in dialogue meetings and actively work on collaboration with education providers, the labor market, and other stakeholders. You will coordinate contacts with industries, companies, and professional boards, as well as arrange joint vocational councils and other meeting places.

You are responsible for investigating local employment needs and contributing analyses as a basis for planning the educational offerings. An important part of the work is to participate in systematic quality work through documentation, follow-up, and proposing improvements, while also driving your own projects that develop the operations.

You are an active resource in the operation who takes initiative, makes your competence visible, and leads collaborative processes. You contribute operational improvement proposals, ensure that assignments are completed on time, and see both the whole and the details in the development of the operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has completed post-secondary education in communication, marketing, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. It is meritorious if you have experience in project management and in driving development work, analyzing operations, and developing methods. Experience with business-related issues and relevant industry knowledge for the assignment is also meritorious. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

As a person, you are independent and have the ability to plan, prioritize, and drive your assignments forward while seeing the whole picture in the operation. You have good communication skills and enjoy building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, suppliers, companies, and other actors. You are structured, solution-oriented, and can handle multiple parallel assignments.

You have a genuine interest in the local business community and development issues and thrive in a role with many contact points. You take initiative, see opportunities, and actively contribute to dialogues and networks, both internally and externally. You are motivated by change and operational improvement work.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We see it as a positive if you have a B driver's license.
