About the job

As a Project Controller, you will be a key person in the client's larger construction projects. You will work closely with project managers and be responsible for providing support in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ongoing monitoring. The role suits you who enjoys combining structure, analysis, and collaboration, and who wants to work proactively to ensure that projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and IFRS.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting project managers in the development and follow-up of forecasts (FC), budgets, payment plans, and financial goals
• Conducting ongoing financial monitoring of large construction projects
• Ensuring accurate accounting and following up on project milestones
• Contributing to the development of routines and working methods within project economics
• Preparing analyses and reports for project and management groups

The candidate we are looking for

We are looking for someone with an analytical eye, a good understanding of project management, and an interest in working closely with the business. You thrive on driving financial processes forward, take responsibility for your deliveries, and are confident in communicating financial information clearly. You enjoy collaborating with many stakeholders and appreciate the opportunity to contribute to both structure and development.

For the role, we prefer that you have:

• A degree in finance or equivalent competence
• Experience as a project controller/project economist in construction or civil engineering projects
• A good understanding of project management and financial monitoring processes
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex information clearly
• Good communication skills and experience in collaboration

Meritorious:

• Experience with SAP or other major business systems
• Experience from larger complex project organizations
