Instructor in Fullstack Java

📍 Location: (unknown) – Remote work 📅 Start: Autumn term 2026

Teknikakademin is looking for an instructor in Fullstack Java development. This role is suitable for you who have solid expertise in backend development in Java and a good understanding of modern frontend technologies, and who wants to educate the next generation of fullstack developers.

You will plan, conduct, and develop teaching in system development, backend in Java, frontend development, and fullstack methodology. The teaching is conducted remotely and is designed to reflect the actual working methods of the IT industry.

• Teach object-oriented programming in Java

• Convey knowledge in backend development, REST APIs, and Spring Boot

• Teach JavaScript and basic frontend development

• Introduce databases, data modeling, and SQL

• Teach agile working methods (Scrum)

• Convey methodology in testing, IT security, and DevOps

• Guide student projects and development of fullstack applications

• Ensure quality and develop course materials

• Very good knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming

• Experience in backend development, API design, and databases

• Knowledge in frontend (JavaScript/frameworks)

• Experience with agile methods and modern development tools

• Relevant technical education and/or work experience

• Good pedagogical ability

• Experience with Spring Boot or other Java frameworks

• Experience in DevOps, cloud services, or test-driven development

• Previous experience as a mentor/instructor

• Experience in project work or managing smaller projects
