Instructor in Java Enterprise – Software Development

📍 Gothenburg (possibility for partial remote work) 📅 Start: Autumn semester 2026

Teknikakademin is looking for an engaged instructor in Java Enterprise and software development. This role is suitable for you who have strong competence in object-oriented programming and modern development methods, and who want to educate the software developers of the future.

As an instructor, you will plan, conduct, and develop teaching in Java development, databases, agile methodology, and modern backend development. Teaching will take place on-site in Gothenburg with the possibility of some remote arrangements.

• Teach object-oriented programming in Java

• Convey knowledge in backend and client programming

• Teach databases, data management, and system integration

• Conduct teaching in agile working methods and project methodology

• Introduce modern development tools and frameworks

• Guide students in projects, code reviews, and testing

• Ensure quality and further develop course materials

• Excellent knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming

• Experience in server and client programming

• Knowledge of databases, SQL, and system integration

• Experience with agile working methods and modern development tools

• Relevant technical education and/or equivalent professional experience

• Good pedagogical skills

• Experience working with Java-based enterprise systems

• Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture

• Previous experience as an instructor/mentor

• Experience in project work or managing smaller projects
