JOB DESCRIPTION
As a social worker focusing on Children and Youth, you will work with children and young people up to 21 years old and their families. We have a clear systems-theoretical approach where we place the person in need of support at the center, and we believe that the working alliance and continuity over time are significant parts of the change process. Therefore, we strive to have the same social worker meet the child/youth throughout their contact with us. This means that you will work with all tasks such as reception/preliminary assessment, investigation, and follow-up of both open care interventions and placements.
We also believe that social change work must be conducted in close collaboration with the individual and with partners. Together, we work to enable a change in the life situation that leads to good conditions for the future.
Part of the work is done together with our partners where we create common approaches for both the individual and our services. As a social worker with us, you will also actively participate in the unit's operational development work by contributing to the establishment and implementation of routines and working methods.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other education that meets the eligibility requirements to perform tasks within social services for children and youth.
It is desirable that you have previous experience in social work - preferably with experience in exercising authority.
A driver's license is a requirement.
We expect you to be responsible and have a good attitude towards community residents, colleagues, and partners. You should also be good at communicating in speech and writing, collaborating, and sharing our systems-theoretical view of social work. You should also be creative and have a good ability to work both independently and in a group.
We place great importance on personal qualities.
