Coordinator with a focus on SIP and network work – Children and Youth
Do you want to work strategically and operationally with collaboration for children and youth with complex needs?
We are now looking for a coordinator for the children and youth unit with a particular focus on coordinated individual plans (SIP), network work, and signs of safety.
About the assignment
As a coordinator, you will play a central role in strengthening collaboration between social services, the region, schools, and other actors regarding children and youth. The assignment aims to enable coordinated efforts, and the goal is to work more preventively, strengthen home-based solutions, and reduce the need for placements outside the home.
The role is placed within the children and youth unit and involves close collaboration with social workers, managers, and other coordinating functions within the municipality.
Job responsibilities
In the role of coordinator, you will:
- Lead and coordinate SIP meetings according to legal requirements and methodological support
- Support social workers in network meetings to enable home-based solutions
- Actively work to ensure that children who are placed, where possible, can return home
- Contribute to joint planning and co-financing together with the region and LSS
- Contribute to competence development within SIP and network work
- Contribute to the implementation of signs of safety.
The work takes place in close connection with the social workers' investigative and follow-up work.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Have a degree in social work
- Several years of experience working as a social worker with authority in children and youth
- Experience of collaboration between social services, the region, schools, and/or LSS
- Have a good ability to lead meetings and coordinate complex processes as well as to lead, document, and follow up SIP
- Have experience of working according to Signs of Safety (including safety planning)
- Have a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing
- Hold a B driver's license
- Training in:
- Training for trainers in Signs of Safety
- Basic and advanced training for SIP
Meritorious
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience working as a SIP coordinator
- Experience in network work according to systems theory
- Experience related to placements and home returns
- Experience in training and implementing Signs of Safety and SIP
- Experience in conducting dialogue and negotiations with external providers and other principals regarding content, scope, and pricing within the framework of applicable agreements
