About Me

Hi! I am a 17-year-old guy living in Hässelby. I enjoy bowling, music, video games, and of course, having fun! Sometimes I go to music camps outside of Stockholm, and my assistants come along. I communicate with words, hands, and facial expressions, so it's great if you are good at reading and adapting.

My life is a mix of adventures and calm days at home. I need someone who can accompany me to school, activities, and help me at home. I hope you want to be a part of my team!

About You

You are a reliable and responsible person who enjoys being an important support for someone else. You have a good sense of humor but can also be focused when needed. It’s a big plus if you have experience with alternative communication.

You need to be proficient in the Swedish language so we can understand each other.

It is a requirement that you are smoke-free and it is important that you have good physical fitness to assist me with transfers. You will also assist me with my basic needs, such as personal hygiene.

Staffing:

This position includes an extended (and compensated) staffing duty, which means that some weeks you must be available at times other than working hours to call in a substitute or step in yourself when intervention is required.

This is Assistans i Balans's way of ensuring that our clients always have a familiar assistant by their side. The assignment is shared with some of your colleagues, who work according to a regular schedule.

The Position:

This is a 75% position (30 hours per week) to allow for taking on more shifts if needed during your staffing responsibility. Working hours are scheduled throughout the day, every day of the year, according to a rolling schedule.
